Throughout her childhood, Diane Joseph, purveyor of Sheekar Delights, remembers her mother taking great pride in cooking and baking. Everything that came from the kitchen was homemade and crafted with care. But there was one particular treat that very quickly gained the reputation of being the most delectable in town. Her mother’s baklava.

Ready for a new challenge, Diane remembered the passion her mother had while teaching her the baklava recipe. Diane shared that same passion and was moved to start her own business. Now, she, too, has mastered the art of creating the most luscious, gourmet baklava and is ready for you to experience it.

Sheekar Delights’ baklava is truly unique. It specializes in freshly baked baklava made from paper-thin phyllo sheets that are individually hand-buttered, then layered with a chopped walnut filling and smothered in our legendary house made syrup.
